Remeber to mention game name while submiting new codes. NovaLogic is making sure that these wingmen don't pose the same problem that the wingmen in Comanche Gold did, though, and for the most part, they'll stay out of your way in Comanche 4. I have a P2 450 MHz 192 MB Win 98 PC with 3dFX Voodoo card and PC100 M726 motherboard. When I load the game everything is ok until I load a mission. At this part teh actual game play section should begin but teh game exits and Iget an error message 'system context dumped to file: Sysdump.txt' I thought this was a video card issue because the screen goes kinda red green blue with little squares for about 1 sec ( like a display on a ZX Spectrum bug. I tried running the game on a PC in work and it worked fine on a p3 450 so I used the same video card at home ( same driver) but im still getting the same error. Then I thought it might be the sound card and Iswapped that as well but this didnt work either. Im wondering if this might be a BIOS or motherboard problem but Im not sure how to upgrade BIOS and im a little scared ill mess up my PC. Comanche Gold Updates 2017Some other users havegot same problem with Novalogic games too. THe drivers update isnt making any difference but thanks for the link you provided ChrisPy. This does relate to what I said earlier about the game working in a similar spec PC in work ( sssh don't tell anyone). Im going to take a ghost image oof my home Pc and try it on the PC that Commanche ran ok on in my work. If is still work in my office I;ll know my OS is ok, if it doesnt work Ill know teh problem isnt mother board realted but is caused by my OS. I do think it will be Motherboard realted though and I;l keep you all posted. Thanks for asking mcwojtekk. Ts a long story but,,,, 1, I first tried to get a ghost image onto my PC in work. I got a CD Re-Writer from work, this was an older hp 7200 rxternal which worked on a basic 95 computer. I tried installing it at home and i got an execution error. I used my ghost backup and restored my system (yeah i played this game before) and did an upgrade to win 2k and installed teh cd rw again and,,, still got an execution error. At this poitn im more convinced the fault is my motherboard and how the hell do i upgrade a vesa driver. The other option is to format my c: drive and try a clean install and then try the game. If it still doesnt work then I will know for sure its my motherboard and NOT the OS. I can still use my ghost image to go back to a working system. Ill keep you posted. If you want to upgrade your VESA driver and other components of your MB, let us know the details of your motherboard, and onboard video, and we'll get you the files. Did you disable your anti-virus when you tried to play the game? And it still may be a BIOS issue. ChrisPy NovaLogic Support Knowledge Base Article PROBLEM: Why am I receiving a SYSDUMP.TXT error in the game? RESOLUTION: SYSDUMPs are generated by the game when the game tells Windows (using DirectX) to perform a function. Windows then instructs the hardware (using the hardware 's drivers) to generate the image or sound. Descargar corel draw x6 full espaг±ol 64 bits mega. If for any reason there is confusion in the process, you receive a sysdump. We have also found that Athlon and Duron motherboards with VIA and AMD chipsets are much more sensitive to proper driver installation than any other configuration. Be sure to update all of the following to the most recent available from each manufacturer: - The latest BIOS for your particular motherboard - The latest Chipset drivers for your motherboard, including the latest AGP Miniport driver - The most recent video card and soundcard drivers for your system Make sure that no anti-virus software is running in Windows when you play the game (especially Norton Anti-Virus). These programs conflict with the normal processes of the game and may be the source of your system crashes. In general, I wouldn't recommend it at all. It would be similar to taking your current hard drive and placing it in a new machine. Which I have done before. So it is possible to do it. One major factor to take into consideration (and this forms the bulk of my worry), what happens if you GHOST your work machine and it crashes completely? Are your MIS guys going to be cool with you crashing a company PC so you can play a game? The main technical issue, if I remember, is that the two hard drives are the same size. Unless the more recent GHOST versions takes this into account, having different sized hard drives from the image to the new machine is trouble. I am now able to do the system restore onto my current PC. Comanche Gold Windows 10This will tell me if my system or my motherboard was to blame for the gamer not working. I did a a test in work and unbeleavably I can use a w95 fat 32 pc in WINDOWS MODE (not dos) to back up to network. I could also restore the image LIVE from Windows not DOS. This sounds crazy but is true. WHat you said about HDD size was very true. Comanche Gold PatchTHe image was not working and then i partitined the HDD to be exactly teh smae size as teh clone and 'hey presto' the test worked. NOw for the real thing,,,, wastch this space. Flying combat helicopters is, by all accounts, a terrifying experience. Their relatively slow cruising speed makes them perfect targets, and their clumsy maneuvering makes evasion difficult. The one trump card of a helicopter -- the ability to maneuver vertically superbly -- allows the vehicle to escape destruction, but only by hugging the ground. Comanche 4 effectively communicates the disorientation and terror of piloting a combat chopper, and punishes pilots whenever they stray too high. Still, this is less of a simulation than it is a straightforward helicopter shooter. Every mission requires a single chopper -- with minimal help -- to eliminate dozens of dangerous targets during pell-mell bursts of activity. It's fun, but it's not realistic. Most assignments revolve around attacking terrorists and military juntas, or supporting a vital covert operations mission. Comanche 4's faceless enemies might be a problem if the story were important, but it's not. Every mission, regardless of whether you're recapturing a stolen stealth boat or helping a spy escape, is an obvious excuse to include explosions, firestorms, and missile attacks. Fortunately, Comanche 4 has superb graphics, and the gunfights and missile attacks impress. For every successful hit with a 'hydra' missile, pilots are rewarded with a spectacular fireball. Terrain, water effects, and smoke are similarly well done. Succeeding with the increasingly difficult missions typically requires memorizing the general location of all enemies, then eliminating them in a helter-skelter fashion. Comanche Gold GamesA system of waypoints allows pilots to follow a planned path for each mission, but, in one of Comanche 4's rare moments of realism, assignments frequently change mid-mission. Players must be prepared for some seat-of-the-pants maneuvering. With the tougher assignments, learning the location of each enemy group allows pilots to leave the prescribed path, eliminate enemy units, then return to the waypoint system. For the missions requiring the protection of weak units, success often depends on effective forward scouting and raiding. Comanche 4 players will quickly discover annoying aspects. Most irritants stem from the game's attempt to be both simulation and shooter.
